Unfortunately, Heihachi discovered that Kazumi possessed the Devil Gene, and that her clan had ordered her to kill him because of his future ambitions, forcing Heihachi to kill her in self-defense. When he was younger, Heihachi tried settling down as a family man, falling in love with a young woman named Kazumi and having a son named Kazuya. Heihachi Mishima was the CEO of the Mishima Zaibatsu, a giant and powerful multinational conglomerate responsible for much of the world's military arms production.
